A color reproduction framework enables creating specularly reflecting color images on a metallic substrate that change hue or chroma upon azimuthal rotation. It relies on the anisotropic dot gain of CMY cross-halftones. The surprising recolorization effects may be applied in art, publicity, exhibitions and document security.
