Multiverse: a Next Generation Data Storage for Alembic
We introduce a next-generation data back-end to the widely used Alembic file format. Our back-end relies on Git, a very popular and powerful distributed source control system. Multiverse provides: compact history, branching, natural data de-duplication, cryptographic data integrity, SSH internet sharing protocol and collaborative work capabilities.
